Sensored motor running without a lead

Ive had someone ask me if a sensored motor will run on a speedo (Mamba Max Pro) that will run sensored and sensorless motors, but wants to run it sensorless (without a sensor lead fitted)

Will the speedo run the sensored motor without a sensor lead attached?
