Which esc?

Hi, I have recently got back into rc after a long break.
How things have changed! lol

Anyway I am looking at getting a brushless system for off road 2wd and 4wd. At the moment i can only afford one esc for both cars.

I have been offered a used lrp sxx tc for £80, the same price as a new xerun 120a sd (v2.1) would one be better than the other or are the much the same? Any other recommendations new or used around this price?
