Default Rear shock setup for centro...help

Built up the car with settings as listed on cml for Tom Yardy. Looks like most of the setup sheets have #1 piston and 30wt oil with silver springs.

Tested out the car for a couple of quick packs on carpet track and the rear bottoms out/slaps on landing on jumps that can not be backsided. Seems like the rear is to soft or not enough pack.

I am using older non v2 shock and wonder if this effects piston selection.

Little confused as most of setting show #1 piston but just feels super soft.

Any suggestions? I am an experienced onroad racer but very new to carpet offroad. Wondering if it is bad technique or just a shock build issues?

Thanks
Jamie
