The B4 tower idea was mine. I'm proud to say it was the genesis of the design of the new X-Factory tower. I did it for a couple reasons. One was so I could have more tuning options. We (my son Alex is the racer) could run either a T4 tower which was equivalent to the X-6 tower with regard to upper shock hole positions, or the B4 tower which was narrower. Here is a pic of the B4 tower on Alex's X-6.
![]() We then went to a carbon tower that was much narrower than even the B4 tower. Handling for our track got even better. ![]() The week we had it finished, we met up with Kinwald and found that the inner holes on his carbon tower were the same as ours. Great minds think alike, I guess. ![]() Here is a progression of my tower widths. The top is the factory tower. Second down is the B4 tower, and third down is my new carbon tower. ![]() The difference in the stock tower vs the B4 tower is actually a little more than it looks in the pic.
