Default Xray T2 009 Steering issue

Hello all,

I'm setting up an Xray T2 009 but having an issue with the steering while the throttle is engaged.

It looks like when the car's steering reaches a certain point, the belt rubs on something (I suspect the supporting column for the steering) and as such the drive belt has major vibration which would certainly lead to a snap.

I have used my transmitter to restrict the servo to 70% of it's range, as such the steering never goes far enough to cause the major vibration - but I suspect it may still be rubbing as the belt appears to have a little twist in it.

I have also set both of the diffs to a rubber spec to not only tighten the belt, but lower it to move it away from the point I suspect is rubbing.

Has anyone had this issue and can suggest a possible solution? Or is it just normal on a T2 009?
