TRF201: Which rear uprights?
Hi there!
After taking a short brake from off-road racing (about 22 years LOL) I recently bought a TRF201. I attended a race in the so called “17,5 T fun class” on a dusty clay track a few days ago and came across several problems. The first was that I wasn’t able to setup the suspension in a way that it would soak up most of the bumps at high speed. I guess some try and error with other shock oil weights might sort this out. The second problem is that exiting corners the car always tends to spin out on power. I had to pull the throttle so carefully that all the cars I was able to overtake in the corners overtook me again exiting it. I asked myself if some more toe in at the rear-end will help to sort this out but I don’t know if I should order the 0,5° or 1,0° rear uprights. I don’t want to buy both since they are quite expensive. I saw that a few top drivers use the 0,5° version but I cannot tell if this will be the best choice for a novice. What would you guys recommend?
Cheers, Norbert
