Cougar SV set up please????

Hi, thanks for looking.
Could anybody tell me how I should set up my Cougar, Ive only just got it and racing at Kidderminster on sunday.
I have a SP esc and a SP V3 7.5 or 8.5
what spur and pinion should i use and what tyres too please.
