First run out

Well I ran my pred for the first time yesterday. Initial thoughts are that it is going to be very fast when I have sorted the setup properly, I ran the car setup how I recieved it it was way to soft on the damping wich was making it bottom out all over the track, and I was running on some very worn green spikes more worn on the back than the front which was making it swap ends with the smallest amount of throttle. I had some major accidents on the main straight full chat (Bury Metro) I am running a novak 5.5 brushless with no breakages(apart from the wing mount which was already cracked). At one point I thought I was going to need a dustpan and brush to take the car home when I had a spin on the straight and Paul Smith hit the back of the pred at full chat the dustpan and brush was needed but for his car(sorry again Paul). When I got to racing I got the usual why have you got one of them hope you have plenty of spares but it seems to have held up pretty well (touch wood). One thing that I noticed was how much steering the car has and that is with the wrong compound and worn tyres and full time 4wd so what will it be like when the one way diff comes out.
