Default 4wd confusion

its time for a new 4wd the bmax just isnt keeping up to the pace and development of the new cars ( bmax 2 is not progress) and yokomo are not the best for parts support and upgrades
so i want a new 4wd but am confused
it has to be saddles
have a good working slipperclutch
be shaft drive not belts
good product support and parts
and it has to be metric i hate imperial and dont want to change all tools and spares really

dont want a lazer fs2 - good car but not for me
tempted by the new v3 durango but dunno if i can handle owning "captinlip edition durango "
maybe the ansmann team edition but not sure on the gearboxs unless they been revised
and the wild card would be the b44.1 but this means a entire new set up including screws and bearings

i have seen prototype shots of the hotbodies d4x (and d2x ) prototypes and i am liking the look and sound of them . (gear diffs carbon chassis)
but this looks a long way off if ever
maybe losi might do a 44 ( hope its better than the 22)
does any one no of any new 4wds in the pipeline other than this

the bmax is trusy and reliable but getting dated and its time for a change
so what do you lot think . get a new car out of the current line up or wait it out for the next big thing
