diff movement side to side on sx3

diff movement side to side on sx3

Hi guys

just run my car up the drive and back less then 20ft on some old tyres to bed every thing in before racing, adjusting the diffs i found the diff front and rear move side to side by about 4mm?

is this normal?

reading the manual and i cant seem to see any spacers/shims for this

any ideas ??
