Default A good wheel transmitter?

I currently have using sticks for my racing - running my B44. But I have been thinking of giving a wheel transmitter a go instead.

I am gonna try before I part with my hard earned cash, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a wheel transmitter that is:

1) Around the £100 mark (don't mind 2nd hand)
2) Able to run two different cars - each with their own receiver
3) Isn't made of cheap and nasty plastic like some of the RTR transmitters
4) Reliable for club and regional racing

I keep seeing lots of Spektrum DX3s and also the new Ansmann W6. Any suggestions would be great.
