Spur gear clip Help

I can't get the clip all the way through to the other side of the motor mount, it seems to always gets stuck on the inner part the motor mount. It gets literally %90 through then it gets blocked by the mm.

this is all I need to do and I'm done putting it together. I wanna drive it so bad!
