ESC Exceed Vs SP Cirtix

Hi, just getting back into this and finally deciding what I need to get. Out of these 2 ESC / Motor combo's which would you recommend for club racing 2WD off road.

They're cheap which is why I'm going for them. The Fusion Exceed goes up to an 8.5 if I want to progress later on where as the Speed Passion only goes up to a 9.5 so lack of forward capabilty.

I'd love something much better but money is holding me back along with a lot of them seeming to need PC's to program them and I use Apple Macs

I've not raced for years and think the 10.5 will be fine to get going with.
