agh need advice royal flash / short course.

Wanted to get myself a 4wd and bought a royal flash but then had a go with a cheap hi moto short course truck and love the way it looks and handles.

Is the ansmann short course any good (hardwearing and good handling)?
Should I stick with the royal flash?

If I keep the royal flash are there any upgrades I should be thinking of.
It's got a brushless motor and esc and uprated gears.
