help needed for lrp shark

I'm completely new in the 1/18th area. " have a losi mini-t pro and mini lst2) but not race cars
I have bought a lrp shark for 35 euros. now I have seen that everyone convert him to the st version. now, my question is: what do I need.

is this correct or not
because it says that the other drive shafts are not needed but that seems weird, because the arms are longer.
..
i also orderd a lrp carbon conversion kit, this one.
