Thanks to Neil Dudman for letting me loose on his Disco i thought i'd post up the write-up for anyone that's interested, and Neil thought you'd like to see a bit more info and pics here:
2 Day Discovery 3 Detail... The Discovery was dropped off to me at 8am so i got cracking straight away. This is how it was looking, not too dirty (as it is used for proper off roading) so that was good, just a bit of general dirt and road grime really: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1st step was to give it a good soaking in snow foam ![]() ![]() Next up i went round the whole Car with some G101 and a detailing brush, going round badges, vents and grills. ![]() I rinsed the whole thing off with the pressure washer ![]() Next stage was to clean the wheels, using Very Cherry (Non acid) and a few different brushes, luckily these were fairly easy to clean: ![]() ![]() Wheels were then rinsed off ![]() The whole thing was then hand washed using some Zymol Auto-wash and my AB detailing buckets with grit guards. ![]() After this i rinsed it down and started to Clay the whole thing using CYC Blue clay, and some Autosmart Re-Glaze as clay lube. Once this was complete i re snow foamed the whole car and then rinesed off, before spraying Meguiars Last Touch all over and drying off with a couple of large blue fluffy towels. I then went round the whole car checking out the condition to find a fair few scratches (from off roading mainly) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These were all on the top / corner of the bonnet edges and seem to be from the local car wash where they had to lean over to reach the middle of the bonnet ![]() ![]() ![]()
