Going to try setting my newish engine up again when the rain stops.. Just want to be sure I've got this tuning stuff right in my head as I've forgotten what I did last year ! I ran the engine in and ran it at one meeting before the weather went bad, seemed to run ok by the end of the day, but bogged down occasionally on acceleration.
Is this right.... From all the crap I've watched on you tube ![]() Set low speed with pitch test so it runs for 3 seconds, picks up and cuts out... If it doesn't accelerate nicely on the box, look to lean the LSN. If the LSN is too rich, it might cut out after starting it (any other obvious signs of rich / lean on LSN ? ) Run the car to set the HSN, if it doesn't reach full speed it needs leaning. Keep leaning it till theres no increase in performance, then just richen it up a tad, should be good smoke on full throttle. Have I missed anything key, or indeed got it right ! Cheers. |
