dodgy graphics card..green spots??

i have a new pc which i built the other month,the graphics card is a gigabyte gtx460 756mb card.

today i noticed some green speckles on the screen,they are there even in safe mode so im assuming its the card thats faulty and not the drivers??

i just put my monitor on the motherboards inbuilt graphics to test it and no speckles..i took a screen grab of the screen with speckles but they dont show up in the picture so had to use my camera.

first pic is with my camera and gtx 460,2nd pic is screen grab with gtx460..no dots.
with inbuilt mobo graphics i get no dots.
