camera suggestions please

hi all as above decided its time i sorted the photos out as alot of people are saying the pictures on the site compared to the shells in the flesh dont do my work justice ,, so first thats all for the feed back and secondly what would people suggest ,, im wanting digital not big buck though was thinking along the lines of nikon coolpix or samsung but would be interested to see what people are using and any recomended ones links please guys thanks for lookin
