Hi all,
Many of the top racers remove the paint from their shock springs. Can anyone shed a light on why? Is it because the paint thickness (and thus torsional effect) can be inconsistant btween springs - so to totally "match" springs, you have to remove the paint? Or is it simply because is looks better as the paint tends to chip off after time? Is this purely aesthetic or for performance improvement?
