Default DB01-R diff grease, belt tension

1. Does it matter what silicone grease is used in the DB01-R diffs? I've only used Schumacher grease in the past (the little pot) and it seems thicker than the Tamiya stuff.

2. With a 6.5T and 2S Lipo is there any need to change the belt tension from the manual setting? It's got the reinforced belts and seems OK for now. The rear diff was slipping however, so I'll have to look at that.
