Default sway bar setups

Hi their.

Just getting to grips with my new X11 took out last night for the first time and got a decent setup produced . Although it was damp I didn't run the sway bars.

Am I right in thinking the sway bars add a little more stiffness to the overall setup? obviously they dial out grip roll, just wondering if anyone has any tips to as and when to run them and also if by adding a certain sway bar setup you might need to compensate by coming down slightly in shock oils? as I notice their is a hard and soft option by changing the links.

I know it's probably trial and error but a helpful starting point would be really useful

Thanks

Dan
