Is sponsorship related to 'F' status?

How many of the 165 enterants in this years brca nationals were sponsored in some way or another?

Is it a case of all F1 and F2 drivers have support from a LHS or distrbutor or is it just the Top Top guns who attract the most interest from various companys.

Ive just returned to full time study and Im trying to think of ways to help support my extreme sports interest! (1-10th off road).

Im an F5, do people even at this level get support from LHS? Im not after anything for free, tho I would be happy to plaster my 1986 Scirocco In stickers to get abit of support!!!

Im not after anything major....just a new TRF201 hand built for me by Lee Martin, 5 sets of 50c 5200 lipos, petrol money to get to races, enterance fee's paid etc, etc...

Thinking about it just some tyres for my xx would be nice in exchange for selling my soul!
