How to get the best RC-Drive-Style?

HI,

I'll have on Sunday my first race.
Does anybody have some tipps how to drive perfect? Should I drive cool or aggressive or how should I do it best? In this race with 11 people are min 8 of them very good driver's. I really don't want to be the 9th or worse . I think my setup for the track is perfect made for me but I think I'll be nervous ........
