Default BRCA SE 2WD Regional Championship RD3 - Sunday 04 July - KMRC

As the title says, Round 3 (of 4) of the 2010 SE 2WD Regional Off-road Championships. As per usual there will also be an Open class to cater for drivers from outside the SE Region and those wishing to run a 4WD around. There will also be provision for Round 3 (of 4) of the 'unofficial' SE Regional SCT & Stadium Truck Championship for 2WD (ONLY!) electric trucks, more details here: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthre...t=41755&page=2

To be held at Kent Model Rallycross Club (check out: http://www.kmrc.org.uk/) on Sunday 04 July 2010.

Track WILL NOT open until approx. 08:30 for practice so please DO NOT arrive too early!

See you all there, don't forget FREE entry for ALL Juniors, U13's and U16's, trophies for the top three in both Junior age groups.

Oh and don't forget your 2010 BRCA Membership details please, there may be a check! Membership application forms will be available for non-members to join on the day!

The address and Postcode for KMRC is: LINTON, Maidstone, Kent. ME17 4BB

Only directions I have are from the North. Linton is a village on the A229 South of Maidstone, leaving the village, heading south the road you want is the second on the right, opposite Linton Park. Proceed down this lane for approx. 1/2 mile and after a 90 degree right look for a new/re-furbished Oast house on your left the track down to KMRC is down the right-hand side of the oast house.

Tyres: These were discussed at the Regional meeting and it was agreed by ALL represented clubs that we would, after testing, nominate tyres for this event to save drivers having to buy specialised and expensive tyres that they may not be able to use elsewhere.
In the interests of keeping this short, following a visit to the venue, testing and consultation with experienced drivers, both of rallycross vehicles at the venue and 1:10 electric, nominated tyres will be either Schumacher or Ballistic Buggy.

Tyre type and compound will be up to the individual driver but they MUST BE manufactured by either Schumacher or Ballistic Buggy.
IN THE INTERESTS OF FAIRNESS FOR DRIVERS, CARS WILL BE CHECKED

Please check out this link for any other details I may have missed: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44660
