Would really like your help guys! You britts got a lot more experience racing on turf. Up here in Sweden we got 3 tracks with turf so it is "new" to us. Our is the newest and we have an old but very fresh football turf. The grass is very short and tight. Not like the others who have longer grass and not so tight.
At the Stockholm track they solved their traction problems with sand on the track. That does not work for us. It only works as long the sand stays on the turf. When it is gone after some time, the traction rolls come back. Have tried to really work the sand down into the carpet but no.
The only tyre that even comes to work is yellow minispikes. Works best if you cut away most of the pins or if you run them down on tarmac first!?!
What other ways is there to make it more less grippy? Getting it through setups on the cars seems almost impossible. What about other compounds from Schumacher? Green or blue. Losis or prolines are just hopeless. Too slippery instead. I am confused.
Would letting greasy 1:8 buggys run on it for a day help ha ha?
The guy on the video is the one car that got the least amount of problems.....
