lil 12th machines

in a moment of madness I got a 2nd hand rc12L3, now i need the rest, but, im in no rush as theres plenty of off road this year..
Im gonna need a shell, electrics etc etc. Any 12th racers on here have any reccomendations ?
do people still use those little receiver packs ? I have a few ESC's, keyence zero-v extreme, quantum 2 and among the best ones I have, will these run the radio gear on the 4 cell race packs ?
is there still 2 classes, 6cell stock and 4 cell modified ?
