It was agreed at the clubs AGM that the will be running 3 control tyres/inserts for the Championships. They are as follows:
Tyres Schumacher SST Mini Pins 20mm wide - Yellow - Part No U6671 Schumacher SST Mini Pins 24/25mm wide - Yellow - Part No U6624 Schumacher SST Rally 24/25mm wide - Yellow - Part No U6629 Inserts Schumacher SST Foam Tyre Insert 20mm - Hard - Part No. U6635 Schumacher SST Foam Tyre Insert 24/25mm - Hard - Part No. U6627 In terms of rims, members can run which ever 20-25mm wide rims they like so long as they are using the tyres and inserts. The weight for the 1:10th scale Touring Cars will be set to the new BRCA weight which is 1350g. Your car must weight no less than this, ready to race with shell on. We shall be checking weights of all cars throughout the championships. Motors for the 1:10 must be 27Turn brushed and no faster than 13.5 Brushless. Ride height is 5mm minimum. All members will be given 1 warning during the championship if they are not following the rules. Second time you will lose points in the championships. You have been warned ![]() Check our web site for all the rules of the club and championship here: http://www.bedsrcmcc.co.uk/club-rules.php Track 10 will be used throughout the Championships: http://www.bedsrcmcc.co.uk/tracks.php Can members who are running 27MHz please try and have at least 1 spare set (ideally 2 spare sets) of crystals as you need to be able to change if necessary in the heats or finals to prevent crystal clashes. Format of the racing will be 2 x 3min qualifying heats with 2 x 5min finals. Points will be awarded to the combined results of the final as they were in the previous Championships. new for 2010 is the addition of 2 more points on offer. These go to the A Final winner on the night for each class (1:10 and 1:18) and an extra point is available also in each class for the fastest qualifier on the night. The championships will be 7 rounds with top 5 to count, so you can drop 2 worst scoring meetings. |
