running buggies in the wet?

im fairly new to 10th off road and have been wanting to run my new mad rat. im worried that if i go out in the wet/raining the electrics will brake ect. i have some fairly cheap electrics at the minute but will be putting my old touring car brushless esc and a 6.5 brushless motor, so i dont want it to brake!

should i not go out in the wet at all?
or is it ok to go out whatever the weather?
