Hello,
I have discovered only recently this forum and would have wished to have found it before I ordered the Brushless system ![]() I'll try to make it short but I'm useless at this ... Basicaly in electric rc car I've got a B44 with a SP GT2.0 Pro and the motor is a LRP 6.5t X12 (the rotor fell apart from the axle on the first pack of lipo...) 17/84 ratio . The club I go to is in a gymnasium with a synthetic floor ... it is incredibly slipery and oily . I nearly gave up the pleasure when I had the stock tyres ... got schumacker mini spike and had much better grip but still is quite slipery (they don't offer a single patch of carpet ![]() So the chassis I've had my eyes on is the kyosho RB5 . Looks sturdy and I'm feed up with american sized allen keys on the B44... keep smaching the hex head because I sometime miss the right key ... Anyway the RB5 is I think not a bad base (b4 and xxx cr were the others ) I'm going to switch the SP GT2.0 pro ESC to this (I'll put heavy plugs for switching fast) . I've ordered a new motor because the 6.5t just feels to fast , too much inertia and not enough torque . And so I've ordered a SP 10.5t V3.0 (10.5t is the fastest allowed for the promotion racing in 4x2 in france) with a 25t spur gear . The servo is going to be a vortex by team orion and the tyres mini-pins . Is there something very wrong in this BL setup ? Or should it be okay ? Is there sens ? Ps :I know that the 2wd will be a pig to drive in corners but if it has the same 2wd feeling as my mini-z's or the micro t it would be great .I just love that feeling of rear propulsion they have . thank you very much in advance |
