Question Re 9400KV xcelorin motor with Castle sidewinder esc

Can anyone advise whether this new motor i've acquired will work OK with my esc? I'm worried about trying to connect it incase I fry something. I currently run a much lower kv castle motor and use NiMH rather than lipos.
