punch control is a setting that changes how aggressive the car acts under acceleration, so lets say there was 3 settings, 1 being, smooth acceleration off the line, 2 being, little bit faster of the line, 3 being floor it wheels spinnig and spins out of control of the line....basicly

with the ratios, go with what u got, see wat happens. on the straights u want to be at full throttle with some tracks and the gearing u have atm u wont be able to hit full thortle too fast there for u try a small pion or bigger spur, vise versa. u would stick with the spur u have and get a punch of pions

more teath on the spur slower top end faster acceleration
more teath on the pion faster top end slower acceleration
