New track - Track length

Hi!
About to build us a brand new track in the north and the blue print says it is going to be 213m and 177m race line. The surface will be mostly turf so its fast. Is that too much or is it normal length? How long are average tracks in the U.K? We have a long way to go and all the machines and material are in place so when it gets started, it will be work around the clock.

The area where it will be built are today full of high gras and thistles and stinging nettles so we have named the track Weedglade. How does that sound to a British person? Not to be associated with the smoking kind.
