Leaking Smeg fridge- HELP

Just as we are about to go on holiday the fridge has found a desire to leak all over the kitchen floor. This is the second time in 2 weeks. I have isolated the leak to the drip tray that sits over the compressor at the back. Water that drips frpm the inside of the fridge is guided to a drip tray. This was full before and is full again after 2 weeks. This water should be evaoporating and is clearly not. Why is this?
I have looked on tinternet and it would appear that this is common but no solution is offered.

Any ideas, is the compressor knackered and is the smeg as its name suggests? Typically warranty ran out 3 months ago
