I've been looking at buying a new spade. I've got a 'Wilkinson-Sword' spade currently, it's good for deep digging as it's quite narrow (it's not a trench model though). It's not too hot at shovelling though, due to its narrow nature.
I've looked at one of these...... ![]() It's a 'Titchmarsh' branded spade, the model name is 'Digging Spade', allthough I have seen it called a 'Bulldog-Spade'? RRP is high - £38.29 - but it's a high quality item that should last a lifetime. What spade experience do you have, and could anyone recommend a better spade? Thanks, Matthew E.
