Post Set Up X6 Squared

Hi guys

Have just purchased a B4 FT that am converting to a X6 squared. Have got the e-speed hangers for it and at the moment will be running assoc shocks till can afford losi shocks. Can any one please give me an idea for a good basis setup running this type of shocks? Hopefully be racing again in the NE region when i get home from my present job. Also what type of brushless motor would be the best for it? Not raced in around 9 years so little rusty. Dont want anything that will put the front wheels in the air to easy. My last 2wd was run on a 12x3 and on 2400 nicads, i know things have moved on but whould like advice on a nice smooth motor and also what cells to run.

Any advive would be very apprciated

Many thanks

Windy.
