PC Pro-Trak problem

When I try to connect my Pro-Trak to my laptop I get this error each time I run the software.



Any PC savy people out there know how to fix this? It used to work in the past.

It is connected through a USB to serial convertor, but it is the same one I used last time. I think this is a "Jill Bates" problem, not a hardware problem.
