Default Losi CR diff fitted to X-5.

I have just fitted the Losi CR diff into my X-5.

Parts required:
X-Factory X-5 diff gear
LOSA6951 diff balls
LOSA3038 CR outdrives pair
LOSA6907 5x8mm bearing pair
LOSA3018 HD thrust bearing set in cage
LOSA3039 CR diff rings and shims
LOSA2908 Monster diff spring and screw set

The whole thing builds together as per the XXX-CR manual as found online, very very easy to build and the diff operation is silky smooth. The only change from this manual, is that I have needed to use the shims aswell as the copper rings - as I had a little side to side slop to shim out.

The reason for this, is I dislike the Losi steel diffs pre-CR, this one is a big improvement, so now I have a fair comparison (steel vs plastic)

Chris
