Default Novak GTB = Up in smoke.

My GTB went up in smoke at the weekend mid race.

If the solder tabs to the ESC were sitting on the Carbon Fibre (Its a tub) chassis and the day/ ESC was hot enough, could it have shorted through the CF chassis.

My theory is that the heat and it was very very hot on Sunday and so was my ESC, melted the bonding agent of the CF chassis exposing the CF strands, this sat across the terminals of the underside of the Solder tabs causing the short and smoke (along with my chassis cooking)

On the underside its pretty black from the Orange "C" Cable through to the Negative. The internals of the ESC look ok.

Any thoughts?
