I tried Simon's setup on this weekend's club meeting on our dirt track (I placed the Italy setup on). The car felt better than setup I came up with myself but still not as stable as I'd like it to.

There are a few things I like about it:
1) Turn in steering
2) No bottoming out after jumps

I'm having difficulties with:
1) Getting the power to the surface (it feels a bit like a 2WD when going on the throttle). The car is not easy to drift on higher speeds.
2) Hooking rear end which makes the car feel unpredictable because of which I felt I could not attack turns. This sometimes happens when approaching the apex.

To improve thing I tried different tyres which made it a bit better. Secondly I tried more toe-in at the rear which made it feel a lot better on throttle but I'm still not there yet. Last change I made were diferent front tyres (Blockheads) which gave me an awful lot of understeering with my D4 but the CAT is still oversteered with these as well.

Besides these things (which I think can be solved) the car feels great and with a lot of potential.

Thanks in advance,
Michael
