Players '09 - DAY ONE - Practice

The PLAYERS Day one saw some of the UK's top drivers do battle for the sake of nothing more than bragging rights over the fastest laps. Timed 10 minute practice slots with unlimited runs for those mad enough.
Lee Martin was quickest out of everyone, closing in on the 20 second mark as the clock edged closer to the 10pm closing time on Day One.

Day two will see a lot more drivers turn up of course - and the start of qualifying after one extra round of 5minute practice.
Three qualifiers start the day off - after which the best two rounds count toward the top 30 drivers in each class moving into the reedy-style 'Players' format.
Two more rounds of qualifying and three rounds of 'Players' follow to round the day off.
