What LiPo and Motor for 2WD ??

As i'm just getting back into 2wd off-road, i'm a little clueless as to what everyone runs.

Is there actually Classes for Motors ??? And if so, what are they ?

And going on from there, what Capacity LiPo is best ?

And carrying on from that... If i was just to do Club Races could i use my Hard Cased LiPo that i currently use in my Touring Car (is BRCA for TC, not on for 2009 for Buggy)? Really Don't want to have to spend More money on another one.
