I have just taken the big step into the world of surface LiPos (in the effort to start racing again after an 11 year lay off) and there seems to be a lot to learn
![]() I need some getting started advice please. I have a KO fet servo that has a blue lead that I usually connect to the + wire of my ESC (I'm still running a brushed set up at the moment) and I think I have read somewhere here that I need to put a resistor of some description in this wire to protect the servo (against the higher voltage of the LiPos I guess), is this correct and what sort of resistor is required? If I move to a brush less set up does anything relating to this change? Once I get this initial set up stuff sorted and racing again I hope to learn more at the club and not have to bother you gents with such nooby questions ![]() Thanks for any advice.
