Thanks i'll have to try that on one of my next ones (i've got another 3 shells to practice on!) the first one wasnt that adventurous really, there was no fade effects on it, apart from yellow and silver at the front which i did with a spray can because the shop didnt have any yellow in jars. I'm definately going to invest in some liquid mask as the paint bled in a few places. I'm just looking around for ideas at the moment.

What paint did you use for that shell? I guess i could do a similar thing with silver instead of chrome? I like playing around with metal flakes so might put a layer of them on first
