Default Built Quality

Hi there!

I'm pretty new to RC cars so I'm sometimes wondering some fittings are correct.

My first RC Car is a 1:18 Team Xray M18T Pro. Really an exceptionally manufactured piece! Every part just falls into place and works perfectly. I love it!

Just recently got myself a B44 and I'm currently building it. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed.
The first problem that occured: the pin of the front gearbox CVA did not fit. Not knowing what to do, I got my Dremel and took some material off some part to make the CVA fit. Team Asso will replace the parts, so I'm cool.
The next thing I'm not sure about is: I built the rear gearbox (here the CVA parts fitted fine) but the CVA bearings do not really "fall" into the gearbox housing. I need to push them into place. And also turning the CVA doesn't go 100% smooth.

I don't know if that is normal and the gearbox needs to be broken in? Or do I have to grind here and there?

I'm very thankful for any help.
Christoph
