Default Nitro / Electric differences ?

I just did my second nitro race (neo invitational / 8th scale buggy) and I noticed a few things & wondered what other people thought.

For starters, I almost got hit in the head by a buggy, I managed to stop it with my arm which really hurt and shocked me big time. No one came over to apologise after the race, but I am sure they would at a 10th electric race.

During my final, my pit crew were shouting for me, but it was SO loud that it is virtually impossible to have shouts of encouragement and banter - there is some great comedy shouting to be had at 10th electric nationals and the like and I thought it was missing.
The LOoooooooooooooooooong finals and pit stops made it impossible to know who was winning in any race without looking at a computer screen - so again no shouting or anything (not that they could hear).

At this years 10th euros the A finalists got so much shouting it was crazy - I wonder if the 8th scale euros was just silent as everyone stands with their hands in their pockets and watches in a serious manner ? surely not ?

any thoughts ?
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate nitro, but I think I miss some things from electric.
