I have decided that I won't be running 4wd in 09. This means that my ZX5-SP(s) are going to be up for sale.
First one is the car that I ran in 08. This car was originally a ZX5 with an SP conversion. Has DC racing screw kit Proline axle conversion Lunsford Ti turnbuckles All front drive options (one-way, spool and one-way prop) Ceramic diff balls. Alloy front and rear tower mounts and selection of alloy rear arm mounts ........ forgot those on the first edit!!!! Currently has the "velvet" shocks on it from the car listed below but I do have a full set of tripple-caps and the original kit shocks should the velvets have to go with the other kit. Has a clear original ZX5 shell and a Blitzboy painted SP shell (nose cut off as it became a pain threading through the tower each time .... now mounted to gearbox with double sided tape. Second one is an unbuilt ZX5-SP kit. The shocks have been used on my main car and some of the bags have been opened to get the occassional part in a tight spot but these have always been replaced. To the best of my knowledge this is a complete kit (will make sure of this before shipping). Initially advertised with a set of tripple-cap shocks (built) but may swap these with the velvets from the car above if requried. Bodyshell is clear and new. I have loads of spares (bought but never really needed as the cars are so strong) and they will go with the first car sold if required, open for discussion. I am open to sensible offers on both of these cars. Please don't bother with silly offers as I'm not prepared to give them away. The only reason for sale is that I can not afford to run 2 classes in 09 (due mainly to the fact I'm looking at £20 in fuel to get to 'local' meetings) otherwise I'd be keeping them with my 2 RB5s!!!! I still stand by the fact that the ZX5-SP is the nicest handling, best balanced 4WD car I've driven for a very long time! ![]() PM me a number and I'll call you back. |
