Default LiPo in CatSX NiMH

Does the NiMH version of the Cat SX accept LiPo's without the need to change the entire chassis?

Could I get away with just buying the LiPo battery strap & servo mounts & attaching them to the NiMH chassis - I guess the crucial factor would be:
Is their material where the holes would need to be drilled for the LiPo parts?

I have a good stock of good NiMH batteries & wasn't planning on changing to LiPo until 2010 season. I'm looking for a new 4wd for next season & beyond & obviously the Cat is a strong contender.

Ironically, one of the unique selling points of the car (2 battery specific versions) is pushing the car towards double the cost of others that I am considering.

One other quick question. Does the Novak GTB fit in the NiMH version?
I noticed that the LRP was a snug fit between the motor & cells & the Novak is a bit fatter than the LRP
