Hi all,
Has just built my DB01 (Durga), and have fitted a oldish T.Q. Motor 12*2t that I had come over rather cheap. My main vorries are the desition of pinion to use to not overload the motor... ![]() In Oople's review he used a 21t pinion with a new 14t motor, I do not know- but my guess is that the test motor and my motor could be compared to one and another, think that the 2t difference is eaten up by the age. I today only have the supplyed 17/23t pinions, but I do also have a couple of 22t pinions, from past Tamiya kits, I guess they should be 48dp pitch, but when I roll the pinion on the spur, they do not fit the mesh as good as the supplied once. So could anyone help me out with ideas? ![]() Thank you in advance! Tobias |
