been out of the game for a while, by a while i mean that the last car i raced was a gold tub and the latest greatest thing was the b2, so yeah a while. any way, while trying to plan a return to the wonderful world of 10th off-road,
(this is where i blame Jimmy for creating oople and allowing me to find it) i have been lurking for about a year just trying to catch up with todays technology. i get brushless i even get lipo. but what i can't get my head round is why can't you get a cheap 2.4 stix. when i last raced the only time you really saw a pistol tranny was a photo in a magazine with a yank attatched to it. a quick look on ebay and you've obviously got the acoms technisport for £60, you can even get a spekky dx2.0 from the US for less than £100, but the problem remains that i'm old fashioned and these are both pistols. why can't these companies produce a budget stix variant, surely it's only a case of fitting all the gubbins into a stix handset and putting it in a box. anyone got any idea ?? |
